Jaco Wire Business Owner, Events Organizer, or Promoter Letter
Dear Business Owner, Events Organizer, or Promoter,
We would like to invite you to join “The Jaco Wire” at www.jacowire.com. Our goal is to create the most complete events and attractions/business guide on the internet for Jaco Beach and the surrounding area (Esterillos, Hermosa, and Herradura). The site targets English-speaking tourists and locals alike, and is intended to be an easy and free way for businesses to get some free publicity on the internet without having to worry about the technicalities of advertising online with other websites. Because all basic listings are free of charge, business owners, event organizers, and promoters can sign up on the site and submit their own information and photos for their listing. It is expected that the site will receive top placement in major search engines as it quickly becomes the most complete online guide for the region.
Any business/attraction owner or promoter can add their listing to our Business and Attractions guide for free. We are only listing businesses and attractions that specifically cater to tourism (i.e., locales that a tourist might want to visit), and as such will list restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels, cabinas, surf/gift shops, tour operators (not tourist info kiosks or referrals!), grocery stores, laundrymats, pharmacies, etc. We do not, however, want listings such as real estate agents, lawyers, surveyors, banks, etc, that a typical tourist will not be interested in visiting.
The site also allows you to easily submit events to our events calendar, where you will have the opportunity to write full-length news coverage with photographs before and after major events should you choose to do so.
If you do not own or represent a business but would like to write about current events in the community, we will gladly accept any articles and stories that you submit. It is expected that the writing be clear and concise with proper spelling and grammar, and if you can accompany it with your own photos it will make the article more appealing. Credit is always given when due and the article will usually be posted on the front page of the site in chronological order.
If you are interested in contributing, please take a couple minutes to visit The Jaco Wire at www.jacowire.com. It only takes about twenty seconds to sign up for an account on the website, after which you will see how easy it is to contribute your own information and gain some free exposure online. If this doesn’t apply to you, then please forward this letter on to someone that it does.
We are always looking for feedback on the site. If you have any comments, suggestions, or complaints, please direct them to
